KYLIE JENNER IS A THIEF!!!!

The entire Kardashian/Jenner family are thieves.

They stole my money. They stole my self esteem. They stole my blackness. They stole my entire culture.

Let’s start with CULTURAL APPROPRIATION. This occurs when members of a dominant culture borrow from the cultures of minority groups without their input.

So let’s see what the Kardashian/Jenner family (the dominate culture) has “borrowed” from black people (the minority group).

1. Our Lips

Ah yes, Kylie’s famous lips. The same big lips that black people are constantly called ugly for. Those lips that she made bigger and built her entire career out of. The same lips that no one wants to kiss on a black person. The same lips where the “Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge” came from. Which created another fad in which black people are made fun of.

2. Our Hair

Kylie Jenner has graced the cover of Teen Vogue with “dreads.” Countless black people have lost their jobs, because they had dreads. Dreads are considered unprofessional and dirty. When Zendaya had dreads for the Oscars, all she received were negative comments. Giuliana Rancid, a host on E!’s Fashion Police, had this to say about Zendaya’s hair, “Zendaya is more high-fashion. The hair to me on her is making her a little more boho. Like I feel like she smells like patchouli oil. Or weed.” The generalization that all people who wear dreads must smoke weed is absolutely racist. The minute Kylie debuts her “dreads” she is considered “cool” and “edgy”. A seven-year-old black student got expelled from school because of her dreads! My own four-year-old nephew was denied acceptance into a school because he has dreads. This is utterly ridiculous that a white girl can wear “dreads” for fashion and be called innovative and stylish, but my people are denied their education for their natural hair choices.

3. Our dances

This video of Kendall Jenner dancing to Future went viral and every man on Twitter went crazy. Every popular dance that y’all know today was made by a black person, but we are called ghetto when we do and popularize those dances. White girls get praised for the most basic things ever. Why does this video of Kendall suddenly make her “wifey material”? If this was a video of a black girl she would be deemed ghetto and useless. She would be asked “can’t you do something better with your time?”

4. Our ASSests

Now i’m not saying that having a big behind is exclusive to black people, but my issue is that she’s banking off a feature that black people are hated on for. Media has always called Nicki Minaj “ghetto” or “ratchet,” because she has a big butt and people are tired of seeing it. Whereas part of Kim Kardashian’s rise to fame is because of her behind. She is often praised for being a style icon or having a beautiful body, but black women are berated for their curves.

5. Our Clothing

Now we’ve got Khloe Kardashian. Our resident “hood” Kardashian. She truly believes that because she rolls with rappers, wears braids and can rock a Compton snapback she is the hardest woman out there. This is problematic. Why? Well why is it that if you throw on this outfit you are considered hood and intimidating? Now again I say that if a black woman was wearing the exact same outfit as Khloe she would be called ratchet and should learn to dress more presentable and less intimidating.

The entire Kardashian/Jenner family’s fame and success comes from who? You guessed it! Black people.

Do y’all truly believe that this family is innovative and creative when it comes to their business?
