Falling in love with fall: A whole new way to have fun

It’s the first few days of fall and we all know that that means! Pumpkin spice lattes, Ugg Boots, and those beautiful candid pictures with your best friends. Now here are some steps to making your fall the most spiced up it could be. Whether it is getting all warm under the covers or creating a new fall recipe, these tips will enhance your fall experience to the max.

Step one: Getting cozy with your cozies.

We all know working those long hours can be a pain. Let’s be honest, in our heads we are all thinking, “I want my slippers and my sweat pants”. To all the women who wear heels to work. Here is a tip to bring; your cozies slippers to work. Before you step out of the door on the brisk cold day, throw in your bag those big comfy slippers in your bag and then the moment you have some time at the desk, slip off those painful heels and put the one thing on you’ve been craving the most.

Step Two: Adding a little spice to your life.

Whether it is that pumpkin pie grandma always makes at Thanks Giving or even trying to create your own latte at home, here are some interesting facts and even recipes to spice up your life. If you don’t know what to do with the pumpkin that no one carved, here is an amazing recipe for some pumpkin bread. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/6862/pumpkin-bread-iv/?internalSource=search%20result&referringContentType=search%20results. If you even want to try and spice that up add chocolate chips to it. Or even place the batter into cupcake tins and make little cupcakes. Then to spice them up even more, go to the local grocery store and pick up already made cream cheese frosting.

Step Three: Candid pictures!

Who needs your best friend for those fall candid pictures when you have the best friend in the world: your dog or your cat. Or, in any other case your favourite animal. If you intend on taking the photo with your animal, here are some tips to getting that perfect fall picture.

Tip one: Make sure you at least bring an extra jacket or pants with you. You never know how muddy the path will be and your little furry friend may have some exploring ideas in mind.

Tip two: Always have treats on hand. It is sad to think that’s the only way you can get your dog’s attention. But who are we kidding? He probably as an attention span of a gold fish and any leaf that moves he will be all over it.

Tip three: Go somewhere a little excluded. The last thing you need is your pet running after another dog and the photo being taken is you having that horrified look on your face.

Tip four: Use an appropriate pet; a cat or dog. I mean if you want to have one of these pictures with your gold fish by all means, just make sure it’s not too cold; you don’t need that little swimmer freezing. Or even a pig, some little farm animals need a little loving to.

Step Three: Fire! Fire! Fire!

With fall we all know what that means. Getting all cozy by the fire. Whether it is sitting down and reading a book with a blanket wrapped around you or even sitting down with a nice cup of hot chocolate, we can all agree we love getting all cuddled up.

Now one last thing

Step Four: The leaves!

They are pretty, it’s peaceful, the smell is amazing and not to mention they are so much fun to jump in! Just look at how much fun this little guy is having. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xEX-48RHCY. The leaves are just so much fun to play in, it makes you feel like a little kid again. But really most importantly about the fall, don’t forget to have fun! Just because we are all grown doesn’t mean we can’t be a little kid for a few days.
