- Your smoothies can be just as sweet (if not sweeter!)
In my flowery hometown, Victoria B.C., there is a lovely organic café called Café Bliss perched on Pandora Avenue.
Along with raw food meals, and fresh squeezed juices, it offers some very sweet, strange smoothies. Previously, I had never imagined some of the bizarre combinations of fruit and vegetables used in their recipes, but with my recent purchase of a Magic Bullet—Magic—I found myself emulating and experimenting! One blissful trick I stole: pitted dates! Café Bliss’ Protein OmEGa Nog contains cinnamon, nutmeg, and pitted dates. This was the first time I tried various shades of brown in a smoothie; along with the cinnamon and nutmeg, the dates blended perfectly!
Café Bliss’ menu online includes a list of smoothies and the ingredients used in each one. Try some of these matchless combinations, and play with your own ratios to get creative! You can make a taste even sweeter than your sweetie. Your taste buds will appreciate it.

- The only exyou’ll have to face is the tub of Haagen-Dazs in your freezer.
Yes ladies, the day has finally come!
Inside your Magic Bullet box comes a booklet of recipe ideas. The “Fabulously Fast Fruit Sorbet” will replace your Haagen-Dazs with an all-natural, sugar free delig
ht. Blend up one cup of your favorite fruit with 2-3 tablespoons of water, fruit juice or your favorite liquor (if it’s that kind of night). Say good-bye to fatty ice creams and hello to refreshing sorbet!
- No need for lingerie! Bring out your sexy side with an extra spicy smoothie
Start your day off with the hottest daily dose of vegetables imaginable. This smoothie will wake you up and be very easy to make, thanks to your Magic Bullet.
Here is the link to the recipe; it’s from the blog “The Blender Girl” which has many creative ideas geared to spice up your relationship with your Blender (or Magic Bullet in this case):
- No more splitting the bill, your Magic Bullet is a one-time investment. Till death do you part?
It’s pretty self-explanatory, you buy your Magic Bullet and that’s that. With 1 tall cup and 2 party mugs you can look forward to a long-lasting and inexpensive relationship.
- Trust issues? You can always trust that your smoothie will come through.
You are in control. Your relationship with your Magic Bullet will grow as you experiment, create and smoothie make. With the ability to choose exactly what is included in your smoothies, you can trust that it will come out your way. Take this opportunity to try combinations and ingredients you would have never imagined incorporating. For example: black pepper, to counter the sweetness of the fruit. Try basil, to create savory in lighter smoothies such as strawberries or watermelon or the fiber, mineral and vitamin containing pumpkin. Swap out your pumpkin pie for a pumpkin smoothie! Who knew 1 cup of cooked pumpkin, nut milk, ice and some nutmeg could be just as tasty and twice as healthy?
- Not getting the commitment you deserve? Commit to your abs not his heart.
A strong body deserves a strong smoothie. The magazine, Men’s Fitness, has a list of gourmet, high-protein smoothies that are perfect follow-ups to a work out. Being a big fan of PB & J sandwiches, I was intrigued by their PB & J smoothie.

- You don’t need a man to make you feel good.
There is a direct correlation between happiness and a healthy lifestyle. Your Magic Bullet will encourage you to incorporate new elements into your diet, sneak vegetables into every smoothie possible, and start each day off with a big smoothie covered smile. Feel good about eating well. Feel good about blending well. And feel good about trading in your man for a Magic Bullet.
I HAVE A CHALLENGE FOR YOU:
Write a break up text to your man telling him you’re trading him in for a Magic Bullet, & comment it below 🙂 I’ll give a shout out to my favourite one in my next post!
